Claudeth Castellanos was born in Guatemala, Central America. She has been married for 28 years and has two children and a 17-month-old granddaughter. Since moving to Colorado with her family in 2006, Claudeth has worked in different organizations and early childhood programs serving young children and their families. She is passionate about helping her community and working with families, emphasizing bilingual English/Spanish language programs and services. She earned her B.S in Science, Major in Applying Social Science from CSU-Global in 2015. In 2019 she graduated from The Buell Early Childhood Leadership Program. One of this program’s goals is to build the leadership capacity of early childhood professionals to strengthen and improve the programs and policies that support young children and their families in Colorado. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at CU Denver. She is grateful and honored for the opportunity to be part of Lago Vista Neighbor. She believes that God has a purpose and plan for every child and knows that getting involved with the Lago Vista Neighbor program will be a blessing for her. When she is not working, Claudeth enjoys reading, running, and traveling with her family.
